Moms of seniors often tell me that it’s the wall portrait that helps them through their child’s first year in college. It’s always important for me that my clients choose and enjoy wall portraits, because they are truly seen and enjoyed every day. But with seniors heading off to college, for their parents, it really hits home.
This senior [stunning, isn’t she?] has just finished her freshman year in college, and I just know how much Mom enjoyed seeing this on her wall every day while her daughter Jordan was away. In fact, we laughed when she ordered this wall portrait, because she said she would talk to it every day! [no, the mom isn’t crazy 😉 ]
This wall portrait, however, is about to be complemented with a soon-to-be-shot image of her sister! Yep, this week I am excited to be photographing Jordan’s younger sister. We’ve found two other spots nearby in the home to showcase Jenna’s senior portrait.
I also noticed a sweet little tabletop frame of a photo that I gave to them as a gift. I love to capture Mom with the senior quickly during the session, and I see that this particular one is enjoyed every day on the sofa table in the living room. 🙂
This is just one family where I’m photographing the second senior! I’m honored and flattered that these families had such a great experience with me doing senior portraits that they are coming back to me for their next senior!
